Hello
Hey there, WNY families! I’m Deanna Van Pyrz, the heart behind Newborn Care Services, and I’m so glad you’re here.
My Story
This isn’t just a business to me—it’s a mission born from a snowy Buffalo winter 30 years ago that I’ll never forget. Picture this: I’d just had my first baby, and the postpartum haze hit hard. For a whole month, I was cooped up indoors, juggling a newborn while snow piled up outside. No sleep, no help, and my mental health took a nosedive. I’d stare out the window, dreaming of summer days at Delaware Park or a stroll along the Niagara River, but I was too exhausted to even step outside. That struggle stuck with me—and it’s why I’m here today, making sure no WNY mom feels that way again.
Fast forward to 2018, when I launched Newborn Care Services right here in Buffalo. I’d spent years learning the ins and outs of newborn care, and I knew night nannies were the missing piece for so many families. I started small—just me —but word spread fast. Now, in 2025, we’re growing bigger than ever, with buffalonightnanny.com covering all of Buffalo and lewistonnightnanny.com bringing relief to Lewiston and Grand Island. By summer, we’ll be in Hamburg, East Aurora, and beyond—because every WNY parent deserves a good night’s sleep.

Hello, I'm Dawn
I'm honored to be part of the Newborn Care Services LLC team, bringing both professional nursing expertise and deeply personal experience to Buffalo-area families. As a registered nurse with over two decades in healthcare and a mother who spent three months in the NICU with my own premature twins, I understand newborn care from every angle – medical, emotional, and practical.
My Story
My journey to specialized newborn care began in 1999 when my twin boys arrived at 30 weeks, weighing just 2 pounds each. For three months in the NICU, I lived alongside heart monitors, oxygen support, IV therapy, and tube feeds, learning to read the subtlest changes in premature babies. This profound personal experience, combined with my 25+ year nursing career across Buffalo's healthcare system - from phlebotomist to medical-surgical nurse to my current role as elementary school nurse - created a unique foundation that no textbook could provide.
This combination of personal NICU experience and professional nursing expertise led me to join Newborn Care Services LLC. I understand the anxiety parents feel leaving their baby with someone new, especially with special needs or medical considerations, because I've lived it. Whether you're caring for a healthy full-term baby or navigating premature birth and medical equipment, I bring both clinical skills and emotional understanding to support your family's unique journey throughout Western New York.

Hello, I'm Brittney
As a mother of three and experienced caregiver, I understand firsthand the overwhelming exhaustion that comes with those first few months of parenthood.
My passion lies in creating calm, supportive environments where both babies and parents can thrive. When you welcome me into your home, you're not just getting professional childcare – you're gaining a compassionate partner who truly understands the journey you're on and is committed to helping your whole family get the rest you deserve.
My Story
My path to joining the Newborn Care Services LLC team began with my own experiences as a working mother navigating sleepless nights and the challenges of early parenthood. After welcoming three children of my own, I discovered my calling in supporting other families through their most vulnerable and beautiful moments.
My professional background in caregiving spans several years across Western New York, where I've honed my skills in providing compassionate, personalized care.
Before transitioning to home care, I spent several years working with children in educational settings. At Buffalo Hearing and Speech in Cheektowaga and at Monarch Little Learners in Lackawanna, I collaborated with teachers to create engaging, supportive learning environments that helped young children thrive.
As a mother, I know the guilt that can come with needing help, the worry about leaving your baby with someone new, and the desperate need for just a few hours of restorative sleep. These personal experiences, combined with my professional background, led me to specialize in newborn night care as part of the exceptional team at Newborn Care Services LLC.
When I'm not caring for newborns through the night, you'll find me at home with my three children, constantly reminded of why this work matters so much. Every family deserves those peaceful nights and confident days that come with having the right support, and I'm here to provide exactly that.
