Customized Services
I will tailor my services to your unique needs. You may want to hire me on a daily basis, a few hours at a time, overnights, or a combination. Whatever works for you!
Mothering the Mother
You need a little mothering yourself. I will make sure you get the rest, nutrition, and hydration that are so important to your healing. That means the counters will be clean; the dishes put away; baby laundry all caught-up; a bubble bath drawn; you name it.

Perhaps you need to skip one or two feedings in the night. A solid block of uninterrupted sleep could make all the difference in the first month or two. You can have the peace of mind knowing that your infant is in good hands during those wee hours.
As a Doula, I Do Not:
Newborn Care
Caring for your newborn is certainly part of what a doula can help with. My skills as a trained Newborn Care Specialist allow me to jump in and take full charge care if you need it. Many of my clients request infant care overnights when they need a full night's sleep.

The best start for infants includes consistency in their routines. I can help establish those routines to promote great sleep habits going forward.
Baby’s First Feeding Support
Should you need a little coaching or all-out training, I can help you get comfortable with feeding your newborn. To maximize your sleep, I can bring the baby to you for nursing. then I will burp them, change their diaper and put them back to sleep without you even having to get out of bed.
Additionally, if you are going back to work and need to make a plan for pumping, we can work together on that.
At the Hospital
My services may even begin with a hospital visit. I will listen to your birth story and help you process the enormity of this life-changing event.
